For any season ticket holders who are interested, I found out today from Jason Hickman that the packages will likely be ready on Aug25/08 and subscribers will get a call around/after then to come and pick them up.

can someone please enlighten me

when picking up my season tickets i recieved a flyer for "the firm" gens fan club. Is this a new club? never heard of this club b4, Is it a offical Team club? i thought we had a booster club already? on the gens website there is no metion of this club? unless i missed it. The booster already has trips planed so i am kinda confused on why we now have 2 support clubs

I know we're still a little to far away to start predicting accurately. But I thought I'd see if anyone wanted to post what they see are opening day roster as being....

I'm gonna wait until I see the team thursday and get a roster sheet.

P.S. Anyone work out the 12 vets returning??

I read this on the NOOF and I checked the St. Mary's web site rooster and Borden is not on it.

From the NOOF:

Rumor has it that after St Marys of the GOJHL has peed off their goalies from last year and traded them away because Borden had committed to them he has now informed them that he is returning to the O

I'm already going to be forced to pay for a site anyways to host the Hockey Pool, and i've found a company that will give us a ton of room for 6$ which is 1$ more then the Pool site is gonna cost. P.S. I'm paying it so cost isn't the issue.

Anyone know when the last Saturday night Gens home game was?

I was just putting the home games into my calendar and I noticed this one:

Saturday, January 17th Guelph 7:05pm

I looked up the NHL matchups for that night and another interesting (possibly related) surprise - the Leafs aren't in action that night. They play on the previous Thursday night in Carolina and Friday in Atlanta and then they are off until Monday. There is however an entertaining Habs-Sens game that night.

Just heard from a source of mind(he's been wrong before) that we have signed a Vet goalie Neil Conway that Played for Owen Sound don't now what we gave up for him,but I'm pertty sure it was nothing because Owen Sound released him last year and could be even an OA this season?

Now that Davies is gone, he didn't like our blues, cast my vote for a refresh on the Gens jerseys starting 08/09.

What i would like...

1. Red Jerseys worn with red pants

2. Blue Jerseys worn with blue pants

3. White Jerseys worn with blue pants

4. A new modern 3rd jersey open to design suggestions...

But i def want the blues back, we had a good record when playing in them and i thought they were a great looking jersey, and i def want the red jerseys back with the ...

GMC seating capacity

On the main Global Spectrum website, they list the General Motors Centre as a 6400-seat arena. That seems pretty high, have there been any changes in the off-season to allow for more seating? Anyone been there over the summer and notice any changes? Even including the additional standing room on the upper level last year, I thought something closer to 6000 was a sellout.
