Extreme Ice Racing

Was the date of this event changed/moved?

I thought it was in October but now the general motors centre site is selling them for January.

Just wondering was considering going down.

It was changed to January. I don't know why and I still can't fathom this sport taking place in an arena. Metal studs are placed on the tires to make racing on ice possible and I can see these bikes hitting the cement in the first race. This type of racing is usually run on frozen lakes. At least it was back in the eighties when I had my Honda CR250.
