GMC Event Schedule

Confirmed KISS will be playing the GMC.

Now fasten your seat belts kids and just wait and see what the God Of Thunder himself Mr Gene $immon$ wants you to pay for a KISS ticket.

no thx i'll pass on kiss i like them but not paying alot of money to go see them live.

The current lineup of KISS is without the one and only and brilliant Ace Frehley but does have Eric Singer on drums a huge upgrade over Peter Criss.

For the kids who have never seen these guys LIVE they should go and see KISS if that is they wanna pay Gene's ticket prices. It may be one of the last times to see one of the all time great kick ass LIVE bands. They are still 100 times better a rock band than any group recent generations have produced. The KISS ARMY will no doubt be in attendance in Oshawa.

Beforwarned however kids The God Of Thunder will ascend into the rafters of the GMC and command you all to kneel before him.

I'm going to go for the show. I don't think they are truly gifted musicians but more showmen. Should be a good time!

The only thing brilliant about Ace is his ability to consume enormous amounts of alchohol. He did not record on half the Destroyer album and did not record at all on the Rock and Roll over album because he was too busy drinking. He would still be with the band if he would sober up but I guess he deems himself successful enough and does not want to control the world the way Simmons does. I like the Spaceman myself but Tommy Thayer is more than capable of doing the job. Although Peter did record on all the albums he too was a victim of drug and alcohol abuse. If you read Gene's book he sets the record straight about Ace and Peter.
As for Eric Singer, he's been here twice allready playing for Vincent Fournier (A.K.A. Alice Cooper) If you missed those two shows it must suck to be you.

Genny, Ace back in the mid 70's, vid below, was one of the original guitar players, Page Iommi, who set the benchmark for lead guitar solos in rock bands that still holds true to this day. And for that Ace Frehley was/is a pioneer and a respected legend.

I saw that show when it first aired in '75. Believe me, I know who Ace Frehley is. His solo album outsold the other three members of Kiss combined. So lets rip it out and get snowblind back in the new york groove. I am soooooooooooo stoked for this concert.
