We need all the guns firing tonight. I see it's allready 3-0 London. Should I stay home Sunday and watch the NASCAR race?

Re: Gens @ London
This is the reality of the Gens inspite of the occasional three game win streak. We do not have the guns to get into a gun fight and we need exceptional galtending and we're not getting it on a consistent basis. This is a thirty win team at best! We are a lot like the Leafs, a lot of third and fourth line players with heart but no great skill level! It will come...next year!

Re: Gens @ London
I don't think it's a lack of skill but just a lack of experience for a young team.
Oshawa 5 93's, 6 92's, 8 91's, 3 90's, 2 89's
London 4 93's, 4 92's, 3 91's, 11 90's, 3 89's
That's 14 players that are 19 or 20 years old whereas the Gens have only 5. The skill level is there but the experience isn't. They have to learn how to win and in particular, how to put a team away in the 3rd when they have the lead. Given an equal skill level, a 19-year old is far more developed than a 17 or 18 year old.

Good point Beats. This team is young, very young. Give it time and enjoy the show. We will beat Belleville Sunday

Re: Gens @ London
I agree with Generalizations give the lads credit and yes we have very young goaltenders. So Tuggnut needs to help them as much as possible!!! I hate to admit he was a hell of a goalie back in the day in Peter Patch

Re: Gens @ London
hockeybeats...your point is well taken. I realize we have a much younger team than London and I wasn't implying these players won't have skill in a year or two but right now, their skills haven't developed like the Kadris etc. I'm sure most of the Andreoffs and Padulos etc. will be much better next year and the year after. That will come with experience. But right now, they can't put the puck into a soccer net. Some will learn to do that eventually, see Hayes this year and some may never. I think we have a little of both!

Re: Gens @ London
I am not as concerned about their offense as long as they do something on defense... We have too many forwards who have no interest in coming back and helping in our own end.. If you look at the plus minus over the past 3 games... we need some work on our forwards and their lack of defensive effort.
Too many times I see our forwards waving at the opposition as they fly by.
Esposto -4
Berger -1
Padulo -2
Andreoff -8
Stokes -5
Brown -2
Pachis -1
Hayes -2
Jenner -3
Thomas -3
Terreri 0
