This could be a long year, our goalies are young. They both have promise, but are they ready to be number 1s? We need experience....they are both letting in 5 goals a game and a team shouldn't have to score 6 to win.

I want to know did they give a reason why it wasn't a goal on the TV. They never gave one in the arena. It did go over the line we were sitting right up behind the north end net and Scott Valentine was so excited when he went to the bench to high five the team.

My dad watched it on tv and said the commentators couldn't figure it out..... from the stands it looked like the Petes goal judge made the call

From where I was sitting in sec. 11 you could see white ice between the red line and the back of the net. The goal judge wasn't watching the play because he didn't put the light on until after the ref signaled the goal. This was complete crap. It was clearly in. Besides since when is the refs decision over turned when he was right there and saying it is in the net? On tv did it show an overhead veiw? As for the Petes second goal. I thought when there is a player down and hurt. They are suppose to blow the play dead. It sure looked as if Dehann seperated his shoulder on the play. I sure hope not though. We could sure use him on the blue line. He looked good last night.

They showed the replay on tv twice, but none were from the overhead view.Oh well even though we lost we have been in every game, and for a young team thats pretty good.

No i couldnt tell if it was in, even after watching the replay 3 times.I would like to know what the refs excuse was to depiero. Why would they ask the goal judge if it was in.The ref signalled goal, if there wasnt evidence upstairs if it wasnt in, then it should have been a goal.Of course the hometown goal judge is gonna say it wasnt in.

This taken right off the petes message board.
I'm not sure about the call to wave off Oshawa's tying goal but we'll take it.( Northern Voice)

They even seem to think it was in.

That was a rip off. Gens could have got another point or two.

I thought we earned the tie.(of course I listened to the radio, so I couldn't actually see the play) But it sounded good.
