RIP Joe Chapman
A Generals scout Joe Chapman has passed away Oct 18th
Once a general always a General.
Joe Chapman, age 71, was a longtime OHL scout with the Oshawa Generals and the Belleville Bulls.
Survived by his loving wife and best friend, Marian Gould-Chapman (nee Goodfellow) and his children Kevin, Kim (Scott), and Lori (Harrison) and step-sons Bobby Gould (Cathy) and Kevin Gould (Cyndi). Proud Poppa of Jack, Clayton, Chase, Brady and Taylor. Older brother to Paul (Christine) and Jim (Kathie) as well as uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Born July 13, 1942, in Stratford, raised in Simcoe, but settled in Ottawa as a young man. He worked for Indian and Northern Affairs for many years but found his true calling and passion upon retirement as a scout in the OHL.
