The State of Generals Prospects Empty The State of Generals Prospects

I'm just curious what the state of some American Born draft picks are as well as the odd Canadian ones having good season outside of the OHL. As well as are import pick from two years ago Teddy Blueger.

Here's a brief list of some interesting prospects,

Jeremy Brodeur (G) - Shattuck St. Mary's Midget Prep - 3GP - 0.28 G.AA - 0.985 Save %
Rhodes Dolan (D) - Waterloo Black Hawks (USHL) No Statistics Available for 2013-2014
(6'4 180bs Defense man, just under a ppg player in prior seasons)
Patrick Grasso (C) - Des Moines Buccaneers (USHL) - 10GP 2G 2A 4PTS 2PIM -8PIM
(Committed to the University of New Hampshire)
Kelly Summers (D) - Carleton Place Canadians (CCHL) 16GP 3G 15A 18PTS 4PIM
(6'2 183lbs d-man. Smooth skating offensive d-man)
James De Haas (D) - Clarkson University (NCAA) 8GP 1G 1A 2PTS 6PIM
(6th Round pick of the Detroit Redwings)

This is just a list of guys that where overly intriguing to me. Dolan, Summers and De Haas could all be upgrades on the back end, some more then others. I'm curious if De Haas would entertain leaving school if the Generals success continued and he felt they had a shot at a Memorial Cup run. Same goes for Grasso, this kid has great offensive instincts, is getting very little ice time in the USHL and could definitely contribute in the OHL. I wonder if the intrigue of joining a top OHL team could possibly sway him away from his NCAA commitment.
As for Summers, his numbers his first 2 seasons in the CCHL have been outstanding. What's his deal, is he not good enough for the Generals.. I saw him play once during a road trip to Ottawa for a Sens vs Leafs game and this kid looked OHL caliber, is he an NCAA commit ? Dolan simply has no stats for this season, I couldnt find him on any roster, I'm assuming maybe he's at an NCAA school red shirting possibly, but from all I've heard about him an seen statistically he seems like he could help. Brodeur's numbers through 3 games are mind blowing, Appleby and Brodeur next season would look great.

Always interested in how Gens picks from the past are progressing. I wish the Gens site had updates on past picks as some other teams do. Summers has committed to an American program; I'm thinking Vermont or New Hampshire.

Kelly Summers committed to Clarkson University for 2014-2015 last November. Too bad... 8 goals, 18 assists, this year and good size to go along with it.
