Read a story today where Milano is all hyped to go to Boston College. Has wanted to go there since he was a little kid. (see HF Boards) Don't think you will see him in the OHL.

Not trying to sound like an ass, but can you post this story... Because everything I've read an heard have Milano bolting Boston College.
In an interview with a prominent Columbus sports writer he was flat out asked if he is going to Boston College, he replied with Yeah, for now. The writer further goes on to say the more he pressed the question the more reluctant Milano was on confirming his commitment to Boston College. The Columbus bluejackets where asked their preference, an responded with The OHL would be our choice for Sonny, the schedule prepares him better for the NHL grind, it gives him more games to develop his skill & he'd play top 6 minutes an be an integral player rather then playing bottom six minutes with little to know special teams time. Boston college also released an article called Disaster Waiting to strike! Surrounding Sonny Milano leaving the school. It stated the things I've previously mentioned, along with saying Milano's excitement surrounding Boston College has continuously gone down hill since his commitment. An now with the added pressure of an NHL club asking him to join the Whalers & the fact he wants to play a big role next season. He's all but gone from Boston College.

Tristan Liggett was indeed a Free Agent invite. He is a 6'2, 160lbs D-Man from Alma, Ontario. He's born October 25, 1997, so he is not eligible until the 2016 NHL draft.

In his OHL draft year he suited up for the Waterloo Wolves Minor Midget AAA team, appearing in 30 games, scoring 2 goals & 11 assists for 13 points. His Waterloo Wolves appeared in the OHL cup, where e suited up for all 4 games adding 1 assist and 4 penalty minutes.

Last season Liggett suited up for the Waterloo Wolves
midget AAA team, appearing in 31 games, scoring 4 goals & 11 assists for 15 points.

He is currently listed on the roster of the Guelph Hurricanes of the GOJHL for the upcoming season.

I've been keeping a close eye on Milano. I've read the reports today, and it does look like he will honour his commitment. However I've heard rumbles around the Jr. hockey world that he still could be in Plymouth.

It may sound stupid after reading the latest report, but still so many people believe this is a smoke screen. In my
opinion... He starts at BC then come world juniors if Plymouth is a serious contender he joints the Whalers after the WJC.

The Guelph Storm have signed 1st round pick and Durham native Matthew Hotchkiss. Hotchkiss played last season with the Whitby Wildcats Minor Midget AAA team. Those Wildcats where OMHA Champions.

I've also heard strong reports that 3rd around pick Evan Brown has signed with the Guelph Storm. Brown played last season with the Vaughan Kings Minor Midget AAA team. He was a line mate of 2nd overall pick Adam Mascherin. Brown will surprise some people this season I believe.
