So Dissapointed

So here we are...the first time in 20 years at the OHL final. We are playing arguably one of the most talented hockey clubs ever assembled in the CHL...and our fans have nothing to say?????

What does this say ??? Is this not good enough? Let me guess, DJ needs to be fired. The trades sucked....come on Oshawa get on board...call in sick, make the trip to Erie!!!!!

I am sure our posters will have plenty to say to first game we lose. And yes, I think it is very unlikely we will sweep a club this good, in the Erie Otters.
Can we beat them? Absolutely!! I have no doubt Oshawa can win this series.

I am just really disappointed, The best hockey this city has seen in almost 20 years and all I see is posts that have nothing to do with support for this hockey club. So worried about our scoreboard at center ice...HELLO THERE IS CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES BEING PLAYED!!!!!!!!

Valid point, Hayes. I, too, cannot believe the vacuum on this board. I have not been to either of the two games so I have nothing to reflect upon. I .personally, don't like just using this board for "cheerleader/" rah, rah posting. But for those who have been to the games or viewed them on television., it would be nice to hear from you. PS...I don't have Rogers Cable, either.

I'm not sure if posters on HF Boards pay attention to the Generals games or not but yes I watched the game last night on Rogers TV and the home crowd seemed a lot quieter than Friday unless people were tired from Friday night or just emotionally drained as I was at the game Friday and the crowd was loud and last night DJ Smith on post game said players fed off of the fans in the 3rd so I guess it wasn,t that quiet!

I thought gens played well both games. They have clearly bought into DJs game plan and have stuck too it. It is by far the most disciplined I've seen the guys be all year They've stuck to their defence first philosophy and mcdavid always has a shadow during transition so he can't come through neutral zone with the puck.

Crowd was a little quieter last night. Probably because it was such a tight game. Once gens scored second goal the place erupted and it was very loud until the end of the game.

If Gens stick to the game plan and find a way to limit mcdavids chances without last change they should be able to get at least a split in Erie

Ya I tend to post on HF a lot more since it allows other fans to join in the discussions. I was noticing it was pretty quiet over here. 2 pretty good games so far. Only 2 goals allowed against a team that loves to score a lot is very impressive. 5 v 5 the Gens are matching up really well with Erie. I think both of Erie's goals have come on the PP and 4 v 4.

Same here I'm on hf boards more but check in here. I'm going to Erie for Wednesdays game with my boy. Another road trip after north bay trip. They say Erie has the loudest building in the ohl. I guess we will see. How many making the trip to Erie?

The games have been great , the refs have been keeping it pretty equal and fair until the third when they stuck it to us 3 in a row , but our guys prevailed with strong discipline , great goaltending and a bit of luck

Hopefully the refs will be fair in Erie , so proud of the effort from everyone , they are so close to the memorial cup now , I just hope they keep up the effort and discipline , there will be challenges and controversy in Erie , hope the boys can hang in together
