Gens @ Petes Thursday Oct 28th

hopefully the gens play a good road game in peterbough and stay out out of the Penalty Box and get goaltending from zador. GO Gens GO

They do have to stay out of the penalty box as they did in Ottawa.
Looking for another exciting game in Peterborough with the Gens as the victors once again.
There should be a good Gens fan base at this game.

This will be a tough game as it will be the first meeting since the Petes were beaten in their home opener then the next night for Gens home opener that became ugly

The key to a GENS win is shutting down the Petes BIG line - Watson,Spooner ,Peumple - do that and you have a chance

You can bet the Petes will be pumped for this game. I hope we don't take them too lightly. GO GENNIES!!!

Good start!!! Weak goal by Zador...not sure if the bouncing puck fooled him,but it looked weak on the TV. Long first period. Two big delays....a goal review and broken glass. Coach has changed all the lines tonight...but see he went back and put Thomas with Jenner and Berger at the end of the first.

WOW - close game. A brutal turnover by Labardo in OT and that was it.
Watched the game on TV. I am still having trouble figuring out what Dips is doing with lines and how he uses players.

Hey - it's a point.. should have been 2. Their goalie played well.

Can anyone who watched on tv fill me in about the goal review and what took so long, looked in to me but it was fast and i didnt get a replay

They actually reviewed two plays during the same review. There were 2 goal posts hit during the same play, one at each end of the ice. Both were clear post hits. You're right though... it took WAY too long.

There was only 1 play being reviewed. the Peterborough post was actually off the outside of the net, contrary to what the dummies at Cogeco were saying, and was never reviewed. The Oshawa shot, due to the player's celebration, I believe it was Labardo, was reviewed, as there were many doubts as to whether the puck hit the Crossbar or the Top Bar inside the net. After review, there was no conclusive angle that showed the puck go in the net, so the goal was not allowed. Not sure why the delay was so long, other than the fact that the OHL review offices take a little longer to get all of their angles looked at.
