Big on Biggs Empty Big on Biggs

It will be interesting to see if Biggs shows here next year. The Sun has an article today listing the top prospects for the 2011 NHL draft from each league and Biggs was rated as the best prospect from the USHL. Interesting... although, not much of a scorer! Projected as a "power forward".

Watch him at the World Jrs - you will see - his game is suited for the OHL and he does not play enough games at the USHL to improve like he should and more than likely who ever drafts him will strongly suggest he play in the OHL to improve his game - maybe the Rangers or Florida will draft him

One thing we know it won't be the Maple Leafs -

Interesting that Biggs wasn't on the preliminary roster for USA Hockey for the World Juniors. Too bad, I was looking forward to watching him play.

As it has been mentioned many times this is a 19 yr old tournament plus this will help (maybe) in his return to the GENS next yr

I too would of liked to have seen him play however - it is what it is - GO CANADA GO

The good thing is that so many NHL teams like to see their prospects get experience in the CHL. Hopefully Biggs ends up being drafted by a team with that mindset and ends up being a Gen.
