Nice 6 3 win for the boys in red and white tonight. Tough opponent on opening night of the round robin and we came away with the victory. Way to go Team Canada lets beat the Swedes next, btw it was nice to see Calvin grabbed an assist tonight, GO CAL!!!

I'd rather beat the Czech Republic next. If they wait for Sweden they won't medal.

im not to worried, two wins should advance us. Should get a win vs norway easily. That said we might have a shot at winning the group, which is opposite of my pregame thoughts.

Another nice 7 2 win for the Canuck boys in Buffalo, but Dehaan left in the second with maybe a leg injury and didn't return for the rest of the game. I'm not a Kassian fan but I think he had a clean hit when he was assessed the match penalty. TSN kept saying that he will miss the next game and now I wonder, can't Team Canada protest and demand a review of the play after the game? The game is played so fast and the ref's will miss things. But if the hit is reviewed in slow motion I think the penalty should be quashed and Kassian should play vs Norway. Oh BTW on the Kassian penalty that should'nt have been, it sure was sweet that Canada got the SH goal on the Czech's. Anyhow, I hope Cal's ok, GO TEAM CANADA!!!! good job tonight.

It will be reviewed...and while he may not get suspended for more that 1 game...he will sit out vs Norway as he was given a match penalty. An automatic one game suspension.

Im totally disappointed that Kassian got 2 games for that hit. He will be missed vs the Swedes.

Not the result we all hoped for last night with the Russians winning the gold.
Team Canada seemed to be off their game with the Russians scoring 3 goals in 4:56 minutes. You could see the momentum swing at that moment.
I thought to myself that the next goal would win after the Russians tied the game.
The boys should be proud of the silver metal they won.

The Russians played the last three games the same way. Canada should have been better prepared.

The Russians just wanted it more than we did.
