Who is on your top 2 lines
Well we have our top players back and ready to go - who is on your top 2 lines
Lessio - Jenner - Thomas
Anderoff - Labardo - Lessio
Thomas scored a beauty and had an assist last night vs Russia and should be pumped

I would love to see Jenson - Andreoff - Lessio kept together - no idea why they were spilt up last year.
Surely you could find a way to have Labardo - Jenner - Thomas come together - think of the speed!
Laughton then centres the third line. Do you try Laughton with Jenner and Thomas? I would prefer the speed of J.P
Other than that Labardo could centre the third line and maybe Uvira comes up to play with Jenner and Thomas and you hope he plays the role that Berger did for 2 seasons.

Re: Who is on your top 2 lines
Ideally you want someone to feed your goal scorer on those lines
However you look at it - the top 6 could be your # 1 & 2 power play units
I wish we could get a Lessio or Jenner in the slot more to screen the goalie
and pick up the garbage rebounds
I do not think Laughton is ready for top 6 work but 3rd lines need to score too

Re: Who is on your top 2 lines
i agree keep jensen , lessio and andreoff together , they were one of the best lines in the whole league second half of last season ,
jenner , and thomas played together all last year and they had great years , find someone to replace berger on that line ?
the laughter line looks really good right now , skating /forechecking really well , lots of energy
make a forth line or line 3b with labardo ?
but more than anything they need to shore up the D !
i can't believe how Bailie has turned it around , i have to admit i gave up on him last year , my bad i guess !

Re: Who is on your top 2 lines
The defense will be shored up if the forwards decide to play on both ends of the ice. Games they play in the defensive zone we don't get any goals. Games they have good offensive games they don't want to back check. And then there is the Kingston game where they did not show up in either end. We do need a d-man to take Val's place but until or if that happens we need to play good sound hockey in both ends of the rink

Re: Who is on your top 2 lines
This is a very good question. And probably the reason for a lot of the trade possibilities with this team.
I would say Andreoff with Lessio, and I like Thomas on this line. Andreoff can be the physical force to protect Thomas if need be. And Andreoff can be the cooling head when need be for Lessio.
Then you have Jenner, Jenson and this will probably shock a lot of people, but Sabourin. He played really well with them last year. Although I thought Petaccio played well too. He didn't look comfortable, but didn't really do anything to move him off the line either.
Then Labardo, Laughton and Uvira.
And finally Clark-Cassels- Hughes.
This leaves us with some great talent not slotted too! What a terrible diliemma our coach has....so much talent and trying to balance it.
