Cole Cassels and Michael Dal Colle both appear in a funk and both have not scored a GOAL in 4 games - Are they missing Sterk or what's up

Yes we have 3 out on the back end BUT this team with this talent only 2 GOALS per game

D J - let the BOYS go stop the defence first time to put up some BIG numbers until they get their confidence back

I notice the additions to the Soo (Ritchie/Bailey), North Bay (Kujawinski, surprisingly!) and Erie (Elie) are pouring goals in! Maybe we went after the wrong guys? We will know better in a month.

I have a split opinion here, on one hand with all the injuries and the Mermis suspension, the Generals lineup has been depleted and that's probably why they're struggling. However because the struggles & injuries came right around when the trades where made, it's looking as if the additions have messed with chemistry.

On the other had I always believed the Generals had enough grit up front, maybe the addition of both McCarron and Pedersen was two much. I think McCarron would have been enough up front. Mistele is a pure goal scorer so he will help. But ideally I would have went after McCarron, Mermis, Mistele and another veteran defenseman, if I was to make the abundance of moves.

Oh and please don't tell me , the chemistry on the team was totally thrown off by trading their best buddy Sterk , give me a break , if our guys are that soft that they can be thrown off by a player move then they wouldn't have the moxy to compete for the OHL title period anyway .

Get a grip GENS , a chance at playing in the memorial cup rarely comes along for most OHL players , this is your shot , it will never come along for these players again, EVER !

Even the Stanley cup is more attainable , if a player has a long NHL career , .......well unless you play for the leafs !,,,,,, 😀

Guys settle down and give this team time to gel....there are some pieces here. The Soo got some luck with no injuries. We have some big players out. It will work itself out. I have faith.

Took in the game with family in Belleville, tonight. Really guys and girls, when you get the rest of the pieces back and they get to know each other you will be fine. George Burnett yells. The ref gives him two pp and they are up 2-0. Other than that they would have been buried. Do you think Richie can avoid a suspension in the Soo? Doubter! Your GM is going for it. I hope Mistele isn't another Michael the goalie that wegot as damaged goods from Windsor. The Gens are a good team. Enjoy the ride.
