A "GENERAL" note about NHL 2009
I was simming through the teams listings and found Cal Clutterbuck playing on the Minnesota Wild NHL team and not the farm team. Which i found to be very cool.I traded him to my team witch is the leafs and had a season with them and he won the calder trophy for me. He was on my second line and was a pretty good fighter too.If your wondering what setting i had it on, it was medium level. I have him linned with ben eager and marc savard.

Re: A "GENERAL" note about NHL 2009
I have a question about this NHL 09. I am thinking about purchasing this as a Christmas gift for my son. My son has Wii, Xbox 360 and Playstation 2. What do you guys play on, and what platform do you suggest I buy it for.
Thanks in advance.

Re: A "GENERAL" note about NHL 2009
lol i have all three systems as well, ps2 is extremely old, i got it when it first came out? must be over 5 years ago? xbox 360 came out 3 years ago? and wii i got about 6 months ago.... although that I won.... just saying one system every other xmas for kids isn't that huge a stretch, considering the economy was doing well
In answer to the question go 360 or don't get it. I don't think it's out for the wii. But the xbox is a ton better then ps2.
If nhl is out for the wii, 2k9 is possibly better there? i believe it used your controller as a stick....

Thanks, I will pick up the 360 version. We went similar routes as Archer. We bought him the PS2 many years ago when it first came out. We bought him the Wii last year for Christmas. He bought the 360 this past summer. Thanks again for the help, I am sure he will be pleased.
