Cobourg Ribfest ~ Starts Friday Aug 14th

Thank you just a quick note to everyone in Gens Nation that the 3rd annual Cobourg Rotary Ribfest kicks off this Friday August 14th and runs all weekend long. It's just a short trek down the 401 from Durham if your lookin' for some world class tasty ribs and great shopping over 25,000 in attendance last year. Hi Genny as far as i know that one is not a fund raiser run by the Rotary Clubs.

Are yall coming to Cobourg Ribfest better get there before Phoenix or all the ribbers will be sold out?!

Hoping to make an appearance there on the weekend! Completely recovered now from the Bowmanville event and hungry for ribs!!!

Cool have a great time Phoenix i'm looking forward to enjoying the drive out to Cobourg the weather looks splendid for all 3 days and i believe Ribfest park is down near the lake so there should be a nice cool breeze off the water.

This event is a fundraiser to help the Rotary Club of Cobourg support worthy causes at home and abroad. A few of the contributions made in the past include;

• $500,000 commitment to the Northumberland Hills Hospital
• Ongoing development of Cobourg Heritage harbour
• Literacy projects at home and abroad
• Clean water projects
• Polio eradication
