GENS shut out for Prospects game

I think Christian Thomas could have been on this list, he is improving very well

When I compare his stats - 20 g + 18 a = 38 pts and he is a plus 4

Now Andrew Yogan - Erie picked - his stats - 14 g + 15 a - 29 pts and he is a minus 22

Just a biased GENS fan that don't understand the picking

I always thought the idea of this game was to give scouts etc. a closer look at some of these players who may not yet have been given the exposure that others have. With that in mind, haven't we already seen enough of Taylor Hall and Tyler Seguin?

I don't think as Gens fans we should complain about players, over exposure and the Prospects Game. Nobody complained last year at Tavares playing in the game ????

The second purpose of this game is a showcase to demonstrate that the CHL is the best route to the NHL and so they want the biggest names there to tell potential future players that this is a better route than the NCAA. That might not be in the official program but that's how I always regarded this game, a chance for the league to showcase its best talent.

What did we do to deserve this?
