Drafting and scouting

2008 was not a good draft year for us - as of today we only have Padulo and Baille on our team - Shugg - Windsor deal - Thanks Brad

Scouting and drafting is so important - if next year is as good as this year better times are ahead.

We have 5 picks in the first 3 rounds and only 4 can play for us

Late word is Lessio could be having 2nd thoughts about the OHL - who knows - hope he shows

Adam Graves says that Tyler Biggs is more of an OHL type player than College - maybe he will change his mind

If our Overagers next year were Brown, Dehart and Berger - big step up from this year plus Calvin's return

WOW I feel better already with new draft picks next yr will be better.

Our draft positon is exciting - but will ONLY be as good as the coaching, management, and leadership put in front of them! Dips has had more than enough time to prove what he can't do!

Shugg was drafted in 07 not 08

you are right - 08 draft - bad for us

It's all about the second and third tier players a team picks and develops. That's why great coaching is key in this league! Chimps or chumps just don't cut it! If top picks 'don't show' then you are really behind the 8 ball! Anybody can 'cherry pick' off the top shelf! The good teams win with their 3-8 round picks!
