There will be no Radio broadcasts this year.

This sucks, We're at every home game to watch but love to listen after the game to the after game commentarty on the way home and We'll miss this. I don't see why this can't be worked out this is making this look very bush league.

This is awful news for gens fans. I was reading the threads here and I was disappointed that the deal has not been made.

I listen to the radio for the away games, as my schedule does not permit me to attend as many away games as I would like. I do have rogers, but often , I put the game on and put the radio on too. Listen to him give the play by play and watch the TV.

The annoucer has improved incredibly over the years...I remember his first few broadcasts were pretty shaky.(really poor name pronunciation) But he has learned to really provide a entertaining broadcast, regardless of the game.

I will be writing to both the generals and CKDO. Let's show we support a radio broadcast of our games.

I'm sure they'll have that up and going immediately. Just about ask quick as their new website was done and their store online.

Talking about websites, I've heard that the whole CHL, all 60 teams, will be on one huge website sometime in the next few months and that's why teams are hesitant to do anything to upgrade their own when it's going to be eliminated shortly anyways. Not sure when that's happening though.

It's funny, they schedule exhibition games in Pickering and Port Perry to increase the awareness of their team, yet, there's no radio broadcast this year, talk about mixed marketing signals!

yes mixed marketing is right, some port perry fans have posted that the port perry game is not being pushed and theyre not sure where to get tickets, and now no radio brodcasts. is this what to expect from the new ownership group? maybe we should start a petition for everyone to sign at the home opener

Oh no...hopefully the OHL's won't be like the NHL's because the Leafs website was ruined and became deserted because of big website issues like slow surfing and unpopular page layouts.
