Re: DeHart sent back
the islanders website said today they are only doing physicals, do you think dehart is hurt or failed his physical? why would he be invited to the main camp for a few minutes and then sent home?

Four or five months ago, I would've agreed with you. Of course he would be trade value but from how things are looking, I think the Gens just might be contending this season. Goaltending is a wild card of course but I think they're looking pretty good. Not quite Mississauga good but we might be good for winning two playoff rounds with this roster. I hope I'm not ginxing anything. This team's a lot better than I thought they would be.

I agree with"beats" about the team and I see us as contenders, but not a serious contender as we will be too young. Next year is the year to bring in the last of the young talent and add some veterans with draft choice trades.

Re: DeHart sent back
DeHart, 20, was the Islanders’ fifth round selection (125th overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. The St. Louis, Missouri native will return for a fifth “overage” Junior season with the Oshawa Generals of the OHL. Last season, DeHart led all Oshawa defensemen in scoring with 50 points (10 goals, 40 assists).
