Re: Padulo / Alcock Cut
if true, I believe Alcock deserves to stick around over a guy like stokes, who is also a year older than both these players, and really doesn't bring much to the table at all. Alcock had 4 points in 3 preseason games including a fight. Not exactly sure how much points Padulo had but definately more than Stokes.

Re: Padulo / Alcock Cut
Alcock looked good last night Stokes did not in my opinion.
We needed to make cuts, surprised no defence cut after Dehart returned.
Where did u hear this anyways

Re: Padulo / Alcock Cut
I agree with hendo89 and archer_gens that both should be kept ahead of Stokes and I thought Alcock looked ok last night and I believe he had two assists.

Re: Padulo / Alcock Cut
If this is true I`m shocked! Alcock has been playing really well in this exibition putting up points ,sticking up for teamates against a much bigger player and all with NOT playing with any of the top players.Of all the so called bubble players mentioned on here he has been the best in my opinion.Lets hope the Gens can at least get something in return for these two because getting nothing in return would be a shame!

if you're going to cut anyone loose...Stokes and Clark should be the two to go

Re: Padulo / Alcock Cut
Stokes has been playing defence all pre-season. Might need a while to adjust to forward again.

Re: Padulo / Alcock Cut
when stokes first joined the gens i loved him but ever since he was pummeled by kingstons fenwick a few years ago he has not been the same player. he has had injuries since and maybe he should be a cut or traded

Re: Padulo / Alcock Cut
seventhman, although stokes was playing defence for like what 3 or 4 games it shouldn't take him all that long to get used to it again, and even when he did play forward he was terrible.

padulo given more than a fair chance , just didnt live up to his draft position , glad our team has improved enough to move some of these underachievers

Just posted on the Gens website that Padula has been traded to Barrie for Barrie's 5th round in 2014.
