Perry (Pinball) Pledge

For those of you fellow NOOFers that post on here as well as there, you might know what this is all about. For those that don't, here is a little bit of info

The Perry pledge is directly related to the annual Corey Perry "A Round For A Cure" charity golf tournament. http://www.aroundforacure.com/index.html

"The idea for the pledges started out as a friendly bet between A Round For A Cure founder, Rob Matic and Guelph Storm fan Brian Barton. Both Rob and Brian had different opinions on whether Adam Perry of the London Knights would obtain 25 goals during the 2005-06 season. The idea has grown tremendously and has resulted in people making their own unique pledges based on their favourite teams or players. The Pinball Pledge is currently the largest source of donations, next to tournament entry fees."

All proceeds from the pledges go to the London Wellspring Cancer Support Centre that provides programs and information services at no cost to cancer patients and their families.

I decided to find out what this was all about and make a pledge this season myself. I'm posting this here to try and get a few more people involved in this great cause. For more info on this, there is currently a thread on the NOOF, or go check out the tournament website.

My pledge this year? Making it very interesting. I will donate...

$1 For every Generals win - add $1 if the win comes against the Petes, Fronts, 67's, Bulls
$5 per shutout - add $5 for a shutout against the Petes, Fronts, 67's, Bulls
$1 for every generals shorthanded goal
$0.50 for every Generals fighting major vs Peterborough
$0.50 for every PP goal scored by Thomas, Lessio, Berger, Jenner, Jensen (This will add up quickly I think)
$2 for every Generals Hat trick - add $3 if hat trick scored by a player that is NOT one of the five previously mentioned
$1 for every game the Generals score 5+ goals
