too bad. Great effort to come back though. One bad period. This is a team that won't quit.

OH MY GOD!!!! What a comeback..

I know we didn't get the shoot out win...but the character we showed to come back by 4 goals after getting kicked in the teeth in the second period, is nothing to be ashamed of. I know we go a loss now. But it is a overtime loss.

Way to Go Gens!!!!! That effort is applauded from this fan!!!!

I totally agree, i was impressed that we did not give up being down 7 2 and we continued to work hard and we tied the game up, Too bad we lost in the shootout

Real strong character by the Gens to make that comeback, and earn a point.
Zador looked rough, and the Fronts announce team was pretty high on Bailie, who payed well, but stil had a few moments where he looked completely out to lunch looking for the puck. Didn't do too well on the S/O, but hes a part of how we even got there. Kudos to him.

Lots and lots of bad penalties by the Gens tonight, those PP goals were really what killed us.

Interesting as the Cogeco guys were making a point of how Gilmour did not use his timeout, as we were plugging back, as ooposed to the Gens, who used theirs as the game was becoming a rout. 7-7, seemed like a pretty supid time to take one.

De Hann I'm sure will adjust a bit better over time, as he started to look better in the third. The first two periods were pretty rough for him though.

I wish Valentine woudn't charge in for a hit and miss so often. Putting yourself out of position, and often times causing a panic mode, where we cold not clear it out.

Thomas was a force tonight, and I thought Jansen played well also.

See who gets the start on Monday.

De Haan definitely looked like he needs a couple of games to get in synch with his teammates which was to be expected. The one General I'm disappointed with today is Lessio. He got a couple of assists but I thought he wasn't as good as he usually is tonight. Seemed to just not be all there, lost the puck a few times, just basically seemed to make the wrong decisions when the Gens were trying to move the puck into the offensive zone.

Great effort to keep a zero in the regulation loss column. Every point will be important and even losing the shootout, this is still a character-builder. Full marks for the comeback.

Despite looking completely overmatched during the shootout, Bailie also deserves praise for stepping in at a difficult time, not having played a single minute all season, and playing well enough to keep the team in it and give them a chance to win. Has he earned a start next game?

RE: Lessio. I agree on that point, there was even a time when I seriously had to ask my brother over msn if he was playing.

Re: Bailie. This I'm really torn on. Zador played well enough to secure 4 wins in a row, and although he looked bad tonight, does having him sit on Monday do too much to deflate his confidence? These are 2 goalies who could not string any sort of good luck last year. On the flipside, Bailie payed well enough to warrant additional starts. I am really up in the air about which one, although my gut would say Zador. I vaguely remember reading/hearing a quote from DP that Zador was his number 1 guy. If so, let him start Monday. If he underperforms again, then you consider changing it up a bit IMO.
