Nice for the Gens to get a shutout win at the Yardmen on Wednesday night (nice just to win in Belleville actually Very Happy...let's hope it's one of many wins in Belleville this season.) Hoping for big things tonight, the last Gens/Bulls game here was a terrific one for the Gens. Don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves, but as others have pointed out on different threads, it's a great part of the schedule for the Gens...the next 4 games are all at home, against Belleville, Peterborough, Erie and Barrie. Out of those 4 teams, Erie is the only team winning more than 30% of their games, so time to rack up the points! Very Happy

Well we got a point at least. Not a stellar game for the Gennies tonight. If not for that sort of fluke goal by the Gens we would have been shutout. Ballie played great and should still get the next start. He was our best player tonight.

I thought the boys looked out of sorts. Just couldn't get the puck to settle down...and when we did...we shot it right at his crest again.

But we got a point out of it, so that is something.

Hoping for a better game against the Pete's Sunday night!!!

I agree Ballie should get the start again Sunday night, but since he lost I wonder if coach will put Zador back in.

I hope not, Baillie has got us 5 out of 6 points in the last 3 games. I say stick with him. Let him roll for a bit, see what he's got.

I'd stick with Bailie too.

My husband qualified for the Chevy Cruz tonight, so fingers crossed.

People what game are you watching, when Bailie is in net and stops the puck I cring.Zador is the much better goalie, when Bailie makes a routine stop it's an adventure. affraid

The Gens should NOT be losing to the likes of the Bulls.

Agreed.

They left points on the table last night. Failed to capitalize on chances. Some of the players looked tired especially Thomas and De Haan (3rd game in a row for them). I thought Jeff Brown played a strong game.

So what is with the Oshawa fans chanting "Subban" in OT. The kid has stopped all but one shot. They looked pretty foolish when he made a stop and the puck goes the other way and it in the Oshawa net. I found it offensive when the fans did that to P.K. and even more so when they do it to his brother. P.K. showed a lot of emotion on the ice but there was none of that from Malcolm.

It would have been more effective if they did it earlier. Yes they did look foolish but it was refreshing to hear some sort of cheer or chant from somebody older than 12! Rolling Eyes

Very quiet crowd yesterday.

I think the crowd was quiet due to the lack of flow in the game. It was a very choppy game. Even though we outshot them , and played a lot in their end...the passing, hitting and plays were almost slow motion. We didn't seem to kick it up a notch...we seemed to flow right into the game they wanted to play...and it was quite frankly...a bit boring. Not much to cheer about really. Only highlight was the fight, which got the crowd into it, but we didn't capatilize on the momentum.

I thought Berger played a really good game too...he had a lot of energy last night.
