Generals Donut
Tims will have Gens donuts on game day. I think its a great idea and have mentioned the idea in the past.

Re: Generals Donut
Yes I deleted Steamed, it's time he gave it a rest on the lads . Every post made about the generals, he has to turn into a nasty jab, be a fan or lay off!!
From Now on I will delete every post of steamed until he respects other fans make posts with out him coming in here and trashing this team enough said!!

Re: Generals Donut
I would love Tim's in the arena. It would end pointless conflicts at the gate. It's $1.75 for Tim's at the ACC (at least it was the last time I went which was December 2009 so it might have gone up since then). You can't really inflate prices too much for coffee so the price should be reasonable. Even the Cineplex doesn't have crazy prices for Tim's.

Re: Generals Donut
Right on Beats - We have Tim Horton advertising in the arena , and giveaways on game day as well as Tims day in March
Even at the HSBC arena in Buffallo they had Tims - not sure why we can't

Re: Tim's in the GM Centre
I inquired about this a LONG time ago. My understanding is that Tim's was offered a spot when the arena was still in construction and that they turned it down as not a profitable venture due to too many "dark days" at the GM Centre. Meaning Tims felt that the GM Centre is not open enough to warrant a Tim's outlet in the building.

Just a thought on that statement. Although it is too late now but they could have made the Timmys with an outdoor and indoor entrance like Prospects has. On the street if there is a Timmys around people will find it and go.

Re: Generals Donut
Why not have the local Tims, which is what two blocks away run it. There part time staffers get a few extra hours and the food could even be prepared and transported the two blocks on game day from the Tim Hortons location. From there all you would need is a way to make coffee and tea. You don't need sandwiches and stuff, but the snacks and coffee would sell really well.

Myself and my two daughters had one each last night before the game and we proceeded to win 8-2 - new game day ritual me thinks!
