That was another amazing game. So exciting...can these two teams play all year???? What else can you ask for from a hockey fan standpoint? Scoring galore...great passing plays by both clubs...steallar goaltending from both netminders(yes we put 6 past him) but he made some beauties too!!!!

Fabulously entertaining game tonight!! And Kudos to the arena/Gens management/operators. Loved the lazerlights & fireworks. They should do that for EVERY game! Gets the fans pumped up & I'm sure it helps pump up the players too.

Exciting game to say the least. The boys have got to stay focused in Niagara Monday and want the puck more than the Ice Dogs. Go you Gennies!! Way to take the Dogs for a walk. Also kudos to management on pumping up the crowd with the laser show. It was very well received by all around in my section. Very impressive!

That was AWESOME..From the lazer and fireworks show to the entire game,i was on the very edge of my seat,that is some of the most kick a$$ entertainning hockey ive ever seen.WAYTAGO GENS,Thats how ya do it,we rattled the cage of Visentin tonight for sure and i hope we can keep it rolling on monday as i will be there to cheer the guys on.GOOOOOOOOOOOOO GENS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

It was an awesome game, Jenner's goal was the highlight for me. Definitely one to remember.

Good points but the loud noise you heard in the first period was the arena's ventilation system at work to try and quickly clear out that fog asap. My hope is that they know what they're doing to keep optimal ice conditions although admittedly, I know nothing about the science behind it. You won't be seeing fireworks at every game though, it's just too expensive. I hope they're able to do it again though, it was pretty cool.

Basic premise is, the fog they put in the arena in the pregame increases the dew point, making it tougher to keep the dew point below the temperature in the arena, which is already a major issue in spring.

I figured it's a one time thing. If the team keeps playing like this, the fans wont need any incentive to be loud!

Wow! Now that was an exciting game!

After staring at a 0.75 GAA coming into the series with Visentin and getting 1 goal on Thursday night, this will give the Gens loads of confidence getting 6 by him tonight. Also, to have the powerplay click at 60% and get 3 goals when you're facing the best playoff penalty killing team coming into the game...that's 2 big breakthroughs for the Gens.

As I joked on Twitter, Ice Dogs fans should be thrilled that we scored 4 goals. Free fries for the ride home! In fact, they should be cheering for 4 Gens goals in each game at the GM Centre for that very reason.

Way to go Gens!!!

too bad more families weren't there filling the empty seats to watch this game (thank goodness there were a lot of Niagara fans in the builing to help bump up the attendance numbers) ... despite how exciting last night's game was, it's over $100 to take a family of 4 now ... no thank you, that's absolutely ridiculous, sorry, but that's way too much money to spend on Junior hockey, epsecially for us blue collar workers in the Shwa!!!!

Of the fans who don't have a vested interest in the series, the majority definitely think there's nothing to overturn the original no goal call that was made on the ice as it happened.

At the time of the play, I couldn't see the puck at all from where I was sitting. Boy was that close!

What I saw in the replay it was in but does the puck have to be completly across the goal line?it sure took a long time in the video replay to not call it a goal.there has to be another issue for it to be not a goal.oh well them's the breaks,still Gens played a good game and has to continue to play well in both ends.

If the ref had called it a goal initially, it would be a goal. If the video is inconclusive, the original call stands. It was so close that video was inconclusive and so the original call stands - no goal.

Mike Luck tried to clear the air on Sunday, as he was the one on air who believed it to be in the net. The white that was seen near the puck, that was priginally mistaken for the ice, was some of the netting, and after a number of views of the scoring play, there was no puck crossing the line.
