Whitby Warriors

Rumors connecting the Generals and Warriors are flying around. I can't say what right now because I don't have permission. But after tonights game hopefully I can spill. It has to do with a rumor going around last summer however.

I wanted to say it Friday but I wanted to respect my source. But now that it's been confirmed, Emerson Clark has signed with the Whitby Warriors.

I'm excited to see him take the floor this week.

This problably means he is no longer with the Gens,as prior to the Gen's he was playing for the Green Gaels and was told from my understanding that he would not be able to play lacrosse and play for the Gen's.I think it was something to do with the injury factor.

Not sure steamed I know that the rumors last summer around iroquois park were that the Gens and Warriors were both pushing for this and that Clark decided not to play. It makes sense that the same conditions would apply now, the Gens see it as a way for him to stay in shape, Clark is gonna need every advantage to crack the Gens lineup this fall anyways with us losing very few forwards and possibly gaining several.

Either way I can't wait to see what he can do, and I hope that he's at least given a chance to crack the Gens line up come september, some times his spark is reall useful.

I was talking to a friend of the family and Emerson says he see the writing on the wall that there will be no hockey future because of his size and skill level so he wants to pursue lacrosse and hopefully to get drafted by MLL.
good luck to what ever direction Clark selects.
this is my opinion I hope he selects lacrosse as I think the Gen's can fill his spot with a younger player with more of an upside.

Was a good scrap though, almost turned into a bench clearing though.

Sorry Steamed but your making rumors up ... I am very close to the Clark family and know Emerson very well and personally talked to him face to face and he has informed me that they want him to play lacrosse for conditioning and hand eye coordination ... the reasons he didn't play lacrosse last summer is because he went to Florida to train.. And if u must know he is not fighting for a spot next year he has already signed

Not that you have to share oshawalover27, but I was wondering if he's still with the warriors. I know he was suspended for three games, but by my count that was up a few games ago and he wasn't on the floor the last home game. I enjoy watching him play I just wondered if he'd be playing.

I heard the same thing as you oshawalover that the gens had requested he play lacrosse, although I was told they did so last summer as well.

Congratulations Emerson Clark and The Whitby Warriors for advancing to the Ontario Finals!

Whitby leads the series 2-1 now with winning in orangeville on sunday night game 4 is tuesday at 8 p.m. at iroqouis park.

Clark Scored the Final Goal of Game 2, of course it was on an empty net but a goals a goal.

Warriors Lose Game 5 Last Night (Thursday) pushing the series back to Whitby for game 6.

This is the last chance to see Clark and the boys in action this season (without travelling to Orangeville or Calgary depending on how far they go).

I encourage anyone and everyone to come out, especially if you've never been to a game.

Emerson scores one of 7 goals as the Warriors take game 7 by a 7-6 score. Congrats! Next up the Minto in Calgary.
