Emerson Clark
Emerson scores a hat trick in leading the Gens past the Petes. I must admit at this juncture that I am surprised and must admit I may have misjudged him. Good for you Emerson and shame on me!

Wow Steamed....starting early eh? btw steamed, by my count the petes had 7 players & their goalie from last yrs team on the ice last night. We can all assume that you didnt attend the game to actually see the play's delovop into the goals he scored because you may have a different opinion than. But most on here just accept the fact that you see/watch/read/hear what you want & make your judement from that.
I'm sure we will enjoy this season of bashing from you!

I'm not starting early I'm just stating that he is playing against Jr B players ,The Petes were without seven players away at NHL rookie camps including goalie Mike Morrison (Los Angeles), forwards Luke Hietkamp (Carolina), Matt Puempel (Ottawa), Alan Quine (Detroit), Austin Watson (Nashville), Andrew Yogan (NY Rangers) and defenceman Peter Ceresnak (Rangers).I did not say anything bad about Emerson, and if you read my last 3 words "good for Emerson" and I do have a right for an opinion sorry it didn't agree with yours

Re: Emerson Clark
GO EMMERSON GO!!!
As everyone knows...I am a Clark fan and have been since he started. He will never be a #1 line guy, he knows it too. He is not going to be a 30 goal scorer either....but a gritty role player wins championships.(if I am not mistaken he had two points again last night)
But with this upcoming year, the focus for the opposition, will be Thomas and shutting him down. If Clark and his line mates can contribute in the games(getting more than one or two shifts a period)...that only makes our team stronger. If his line can contribute even 1 goal approximately every other game...they have done their job as far as I am concerned. (and a good scrap is just a huge bonus for me)

Re: Emerson Clark
I find it weird he hasn't dropped the gloves all exhibition. Especially the way he dropped them all summer and last winter/spring.

Re: Emerson Clark
Also shocked at him keeping the gloves on. Also impressed with overall discipline, not taking too many, or really not taking any bad penalties. The Bulls game at the GMC, I felt he was one of the few that put in a good effort throughout the game.
I'm not going to jump on and make it sound like I've always been his number 1 fan, but you have to give him credit. Regardless who hes playing against this time of year, its his behavior / decision making skills that are helping him with the scoring and good play.
