Oshawa Generals at Sarnia Stin Oct. 7, 2011
Time for the boys to step it up a few notches as Sarnia has a pretty good team.
Hopefully Christian can get out of his scoring slump and get on a good roll this weekend.
The booster club will be there as will parents to support our boys.
Let go you Gens and get the much needed two points tonight.

Altshuller is not dressed (missed why), and the Gens trail 2-1 after two. Sarnia is getting alot more chances. Bailie gets the start.

Half way through the third and that about all she wrote, after Sarnia scores to take a 4-1 lead. I can't think of a time in the last few years that i've been as deflated as a fan and that includes when we missed out on the playoffs. I guess with low expectations you become more inflated then deflated.
Gens need to wake up or this is gonna be a very long year.

Altshuller had a family emergency and did not travel with the team to Sarnia.
Kenny Appleby backed up Kevin Bailie.
Even though the Gens lost, it was nice to see Kevin Bailie play very well.
He had no chance on two of the goals. It looked like he stopped the puck on the penalty shot but it trickled over the line in slow motion. One of Sarnia's other goals happened the same way. Bailie didn't look rattled which was nice to see.
Great to see Christian Thomas get that monkey off his back with his first goal of the season.
Now it is on to Windsor. time to regroup and get that two points.
Lets go you Gens.
