Trade to Windsor possible ??

Reading a article that has Windsor sending Nick Ebert to Oshawa for Scott Laughton and the rights to Tyler Biggs.

I would not make this trade - I would need a couple of picks that Windsor just got in the Campbell trade or I wouldn't do it

Ebert for Laughton straight up is a fairly even trade in talent although good D are harder to come by so a slight edge for Oshawa. Throwing in Biggs makes it quite one-sided in Windsor's favour if he reports. I would not make this trade within the conference but given that he's not playing for us anyways, with him going to the West and with our need for a Dman and surplus of forwards, it's a trade that could work out well for both teams. I like Laughton but he's not getting the playing time here that he could because the Gens are so deep with lots of talented forwards so it's a trade that could work out well for him personally and Ebert for whatever reason has not been as good as expected this year so the change in scenery and chance to take a leadership role with the Gens defense, it could be good for him too. This could be one of those trades where everyone wins, both teams and all the players involved.

May I ask where this article was found? I also wonder if a conditional draft pick can be attached. Windsor won't part with a draft pick if Biggs doesn't report but perhaps a 3rd rounder or something on the condition that Biggs plays a certain number of games for the Spits could even things out a bit.

This is how I would make the Trade

Laughton + Conditional pick + Biggs

for

Ebert + Conditional pick + Conditional Pick

Oshawa's pick being given if Biggs doesn't report, maybe a 4th or 5th, just because clearly Windsor doesn't want to do this straight up, and Windsors first conditional pick being if he reports maybe a 2nd (great deal) and if he plays 2 years then a 2nd even a 3rd or a 4th, just something extra.

I would make this trade as long as we get a 2nd round pick if Biggs reports to winidsor , which mysteriously I bet he reports to Windsor , other wise it's a bad trade , it's not like Ebert is is playing well right now ! We are desperate , but we don't have to be stupid !

Would do this if two seconds were tossed our way. One as a part of the deaL so Laughton + rights to Biggs for Ebert, a 2nd and a conditional 2nd if Biggs reports!
