whats the deal with jenner ?

man he's been out along time now , anybody know if he is coming back this year at all , pls don't give me the upper body injury line , i recently saw him at a movie theatre with other generals , he looked fine to me , was kidding around with LAUGHTON , didn't look to me like he had double vision , headaches , eyes sensitive to light , , no limping , cast or stitches ?!!! ........something is wrong for sure , because every game is huge right now , since other teams have games in hand over us , that will make a difference in us being in or out ........yet he sits !

concussion syndrome ? , who makes the decision whether a player sits out for such a length of time ? the team ? the doctors ? the family ? the player ? or the idiot branch ?

I have no idea why Jenner isn't playing. If, however, the rumours/report of a concussion are accurate his presence at a movie theatre laughing and appearing normal is completely irrelevant to how he is in recovery from post-concussion symptoms. I have seen Marc Savard at his son's hockey games and he looks fine, no one would suggest he's ready to return to hockey.

A player has to be symptom free for 7 days before they are permitted to return to on ice activities. That physical exertion often causes the post concussion symptoms to return, so it can be a vicious circle.

If Jenner suffered a concussion the medical staff will monitor him and decide when he's cleared to play.

thanks , tough for the kid and his future , if he is off that long , he should think about getting an education if he's going to be that prone to such severe and prolonged concussion symptoms !

Croc- I was thinking the same thing. It should have been a penalty and more and nothing was called. Jenner was cut when it happened. I don't think he has played since that hit.
