Playoff Performance
Well, we are all preparing for a very well coached Niagra Ice Dog team. Also a team with a lot of pride and emotion. (something I feel our team has been lacking this year)
So I thought I would look at Gary Agnew's history in playoff performances from his teams. A little bit scary.
Is this a sign??????

Re: Playoff Performance
Not a lot to pick and choose from; they're both less than terrific!

Re: Playoff Performance
Let's face it, it doesn't matter what Agnes record is, it just all depends which version of this years team decides to come out! Do we get the team that has beat and competed hard agianst the dogs (and London, Barrie, brampton etc) or do we get the 8th/9th place team we get most other nights.
I'm not sticking up for Gary however, let's face it he can come up with every magical play to win these games, but the boys on the ice have got to want to play and win (AS A TEAM!!!!!)
I can only hope that being put out last year by niagara fuels some fire this year for revenge.

Playoff record
The past is the past - means nothing in junior hockey
Niagara is far superior to us and on paper should not even be close - BUT - the game is played on the ice
Our biggest problem is discipline - how will Lessio deal with that hostile Niagara crowd
Coaching will not be an issue as who covers who - how can we cover both of their top 2 lines and Dougie Hamilton then Visetin

Re: Playoff Performance
I personally think our two top lines are comparable to Niagra.
Jenner, Lessio, and Jensen are FAR overdue for some production.
Thomas, Andreoff and Laughton have been consistent.
It is going to be our 3rd and 4th lines, that I think Niagra has a huge advantage with.
I really hope the Gens that were able to work hard and take advantage of opportunities, shows up. Not the play of the last three games.

Re: Playoff Performance
Niagara has a HUGE advantage everywhere - our top 2 lines are betterb han there 3 rd and 4 th lines - not 1st and 2nd
Discipline is the key - for some reson we like to play along the boards
Why is that when we have 85 ft of ice
