D Day for Laughton

Well, Generals fans will probably find out tonight after Philly's game in Florida as to whether Scott Laughton will stick with the club or be returned to Oshawa. There is a chance that a decision is not made tonight but rather tomorrow prior to the game in Tampa but the GM most likely has already made his decision.

I would love him back but I think he is sticking with Philly as they have a far anount of injuries.

From Philly the decsion on where Scott Laughton stays or is returned will come later today.

With all their injuries and the fact Laughton played almost 15 minutes last night, I think he 's staying.

I think that had more to do with the score than anything else.

I watched the game last night. He didn't get much ice time until the score was out of reach. Another rookie they have is very impressive...McGinn, he also scored and had a great fight with Newbury the other night. Briere is also back. Big question marks. It will be interesting. I support it either way. Scott will play for them, the question is this year or next.

waiting to hear official word from Flyers but source said late last night that Laughton was going to stick around.

Still nothing official out of Philadelphia, but Laughton has been scratched for tonights game. It could mean that he is being sent back or it could mean that they need more time to think about it so they aren't playing him tonight.

Laughton has been sent back.

Laughton is great talent and has almost guaranteed himself a roster spot on the Flyers next season.

With him back we now have the key to a solid run and that is strength down the middle Boone, Scott, Cole and Brian....I like the depth we have at centre..

Remember Nicklas Jensen? Everyone had him penciled in with the Canucks this year after a great camp last year. Wasn't invited to camp this year.

Jensen isn't even close to the player that Laughton is. Scott is also a 'Philadelphia type player' No question he will play for the Flyers next year.

This is huge for the Gens getting him back. Although some on this board won't agree, if he comes back in the right frame of mind, the Gens are the Team to beat in the East. We just alot tougher and added skill and scoring. We are solid throughout the lineup and will be very hard to play against.

yep , i called it good on the flyers , he will be on the big squad next year for sure !

So now that Laughton is back this clearly makes us the best team in the east, and anything less than playing for the OHL championship is an ultimate failure.

i agree big games for this weeknend for sure at mississag friday and Home against the bulls at home on sunday afternoon.
