OSHAWA VS LONDON - OCT.18/13
Oshawa wins 5-3, Laughton recording a hat trick, along with Cassels providing some offense skill. Our power play has deflated since we lasted played Barrie, but I am sure DJ has a plan. To me this was an important game to see how we would measure up to London. This is an impressive and unexpected treat to see the GENS playing so well, and yet it is still early and there is room to grow as a team.

There are wins, at home,on the road, against rivals, and against teams vs east and west.....But then theres a win vs. london at thier own barn....thats totally awesome and totally priceless....I dont have rogers tv so i just follow goal updates on OHL.COM and i nearlly jumped out my seat when i saw that we had won.It always seems way more specail when we beat the knights..Im so proud of the guys for winning and proving this team can tangle with anyone in the league. It was a great showing for laughton and cassels and Alltshuiller played another solid game in net, keep it up guys and we can carry this into sunday vs. the SOOOOO!!! GO GENS GO!!!!!

A great result for a team that is really over achieving early...the boys are looking very confident.

That is the result of good coaching - have an overachieving team - plus the return of a top 5 OHL player in Scott Laughton sure helps also I can't remember when we have had 2 goaltenders as good as we do now

Yes, Dundas was scratched again last night against the Soo. Anyone has some insider insight?

You got that right, steamed/ I think maybe it's the second coming of the Adam Lloyd story that I started a week or so ago. I like Dundas' toughness but for a veteran player, he doesn't contribute much pointwise and takes too may untimely penalties. Well see how this all turns out.
