GENS WIN A ROUGH ONE!!!

I sure am glad the GENNIES did not pick up that Goldobin guy as he was a dirty player and did nothing but keep the penelty box seat warm in the sarnia side.....I did not think he was KHL material, he seemed invisiable and did not stand out at all except when they announced who was keeping the penelty box seat warm.

Maybe next time that guy who fought laughton will think twice about taking him on, good job scotty!!!!!

the sarnia goalie kept it from being a total blow away as the shots where brutally one sided.

the powerplay was lackin though,did not look good today!!!!

I noticed that Chris Carlisle sat a bit in this game again.

All in all we got a 5 point lead back in the east!!!

Goldobin gets 1 game suspension for slew foot in game vs. gens.

I watched the play many times and I must admit, that it was hard to determine his intent. It was still careless though, and deserving of some action. Perhaps a game or two more?

it was behind the play & no intent to injury. I believe it's an automatic ! game suspension for a slew foot, not 100% sure.

Goldobin is one of those players who lets his emotions get the better of him at times. He's by know means a dirty player, has he had a few altercations with players this year, yes. But that has more to do with his size and being unable to stick up for himself in a more natural way.. ie Fighting.
Goldobin didn't play to great against Oshawa, he's a typical Russian player who has loads of skill but turns it on an off as he pleases. This kid is a real treat and a offensive threat whenever he has the puck. I've seen him play on 3 occasions this year live, other then in Oshawa I was really impressed with his play. I would of liked to seen him come to Oshawa. I think playing with a center like Laughton and a Winger like Dal Colle would of enhanced his play even more.

As for the play its self I can't comment much as I haven't watched the replay, nor did I catch it live.
