win is a win
We started off great a lot of shots again a closer game that I thought it would be but we had no luck, I was upset that we didn't score more goals but we did hit 4 posts and if those went in or a least 2 I think the out come would be different, the pete's hit a post but theirs went in,I hope this was there scare how not to play.
I was saying that I would want to play Ottawa but I'm rethinking that now as they play to much defensively an a better match up would be Niagara we will see tomorrow but I do hope it goes 7😊

Niagara would be an interesting match up. Gens would definitely have to tighten up on D since Ho Sang, Perlini, and Verhaeghe is a lot more threatening then what the Petes had.

Re: win is a win
Glad we finished things off last night. Great 1st period. The effort in Thursday's game was fantastic. I really hope that becomes the norm for the level we play at now, instead of it taking a game like the one on Tuesday to get the effort we did on Thursday.
I realize you have to be able to beat anybody, but just based on regular season success, Kingston and Niagara weren't high on my list of teams I was looking forward to seeing in the playoffs. Don't have to worry about Kingston anymore (they were giving us fits without Bennett, nevermind with him) and we never did beat Niagara in the regular season even though we only saw them twice while being understaffed (without Cassels for the 4-1 loss and without Petschenig, Cassels and Dal Colle for the 5-3 loss). The 4-1 game was 2-1 until Niagara got 2 empty net goals and the 5-3 game was 4-3 with an empty net goal. I guess Niagara just stands out a bit since we had so few regulation losses for the longest time that it's easy to remember the ones you do lose, and that they were the only team who had beaten the top team in each conference (at the time), us and Erie.
