Trade with the Rangers

Kitchener Rangers Head Coach and General Manager Steve Spott announced that the team has completed a trade with the Oshawa Generals.

In the deal the Rangers receive the rights to Mitch Eden in exchange they send a 4th round pick in the 2012 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection, a 4th round pick in 2015 and a conditional 3rd round 2017 pick.

Eden was drafted by the Oshawa Generals in the 3rd round of the 2010 OHL Priority Selection, going 58th overall.

The native of Bracebridge, Ontario is currently playing for the Hunstville Otters of the OJHL. In 22 games played this season, Eden has 11 points with Huntsville.

I guess it gets some picks to work with??

if he wasn't going to play with us then it's a good deal, whats with a 2017 pick though lol

I assume the 2017 conditional is if he plays OA haha. Ya lets go scout that 10 year old!

Future trades are made with draft picks even more so with players that do not want to play for you.
