Did anyone not find it very tacky that he was not given a nice mention and something at the beginning of the game- but instead was given a quck shout out at the 8 min mark of the 3rd period?

I personal was disgusted. You can beat your bottom dollar if Cassels and Boone come back with Gold there will be something.

It was pretty pathetic in my mind. Should have been a pre game announcement.

I also did find it tacky & classless of the orginization not to mentioned Urvira Gold medal preformance at the begining of the game and mentioned it to my friend how tastless it was.oh well a once proud orginization now we have owners that don't care.

I thought they were waiting to mention it until Boone and Nicklas come back. Hopefully they redeem themselves and mention all three players before a game in the future. A quick announcement during play wasn't the way it should be done. I'll hold judgement and see if they acknowledge all three players that participated in the tournament once it's done. Hopefully they do something more.

I was completely furious about this, i look forward to this time every year when we send our players to play for their countrys. This was a joke, i was so mad i called the organization looking for an explanation. I talked to an individual there and they said "During the 3rd period of Wednesday's game they had made an annoucement that all players competing in a international event will be recognized during a pre game ceremony on January 13th" I must of missed that annoucement? anyone else hear it? That does make sense though and kind of cools me down a bit on this whole situation.

Yes I heard the announcement and the congratulations to Uvira during the game not sure when it was but I heard it
