Gens vs. Da Bulls

Thought the boys played a very tight game last night with a couple of defensive breakdowns. Excellent forechecking and some 'heavy lifting' along the boards in both ends. Altshuller was great when he needed to be. Sabourin was flying out there. Like to see him like that all the time. The defence was shorthanded with only 5 available, I believe. Two or three callups, Matt Hore, Evan Buehler and Owen McDade were listed to plug holes and with Lessio, Smith, Tyler Hore, Jenner , Petgrave and Uvira missing, a fine effort, indeed. Should be tough Sunday with Monahan and Graovac back for the "barberpoles'. Well done guys!

I'm glad to see over 6000 spectators! We need that atmosphere for all games. More kids in the seats is great for junior hockey. It's too bad we can't have Teddy Bear night more often.
