Dips to Coach Canada

Congrats to Dips, but awful news for the organization in my opinion.

Out GM/Coach is going to be working as assistant coach to team canada all summer.

Shouldn't he be preparing for fall?

It's a development league. no different than losing players to the WJC in the winter. A minor setback but they'll find a way to make it work. It's way easier with all the technology available today compared to 30 years ago.

After the way the season ended and the "young talent" coming in, I think out coach and GM should be here. Just my opinion.

After the spring/summer "orientation" deal in June and the Euro draft, there is little else to do as there are limited trading windows open from June 1 until some point in August and I'm sure all the evaluative stuff and summer conditioning programs have been meted out. You can be eons away and still keep in touch through the marvels of technology.
