well maybe we will pull a Kitchener. They were pegged for 18th last year (like the Gens this year) and ended up 4th.

when we were picked 20th last year we had Delzotto and Tavares and until we traded them we were much higher..... these rating are a joke..... i'll eat the standings if we finish 10th in our conference..... someone print it and bring it to the last game of the year
the one thing we said we were missing is goals.... so far we have 10.... and yes i know its preseason but if we can score 3 a game we should be all right with out defence and goaltending

While that is true, the possibility does exist that the prediction was made under the assumption that Tavares would be traded during the season since "Will JT be traded?" was the talk of the league right from day one. There's no way to know really.
