Ottawa Friday Nov 27th
HUGE WEEKEND FOR THE GENERALS
ok so we have a few games in hand going into the weekend, if we can win 3/3 we are right back in the thick of things
being realistic however we need at least two wins against 3 very average teams

Gens week end
I am not sure - when you say average teams
Ottawa - 6 game winning streak - Can put the puck in the net - We have forgotten how
Brampton - playing much better - Cody Hodgson due back next week
Niagara - Beatable - only 1 point ahead of us - problem is our 3rd game in 72 hrs - back to back - less than 24 hrs
You are right - HUGE week end
It appears to me that 4 teams will battle for 7 th - 8th
Oshawa -Belleville - Bramton - Niagara - So 2 of those teams we play this week end - 4 pointers

Just in my office watching the game , 11.51 to go who does Dipps put in net next????
I think Balie could be one off the worst picks ever

You can't blame Dips for drafting Bailie it was Sellwood who drafted him,Like most nights Gen's out work and out shoot teams but don't have a goalie that can steal a game for you (like the Bulls goaltending)I think over time we will see that but for now it not being done, and also we just don't have a pure goal scocer(Parnham)but I do like there work habit of this YOUNG team.

Re: Ottawa Friday Nov 27th
I thought that the 67's were in a down part of the cycle? Ottawa now wins it's 7th in a row! So much for the East being the weak division this year! It seems like almost every other team can improve and develop with results except 'you know who!' Looks like yet another top draft pick for the Gen's this campaign!

Dipps was an assistant GM , He was part of the decision making process.
My young sales people have great work ethic , however if they dont make me MONEY , should I stick with them !

But he didn't have the final decision making so maybe his choice if the GM wouldn't of been Baile, we will never know.I think his mistake was last season after and maybe before the Trade that brought in Zador that he didn't play Baile enough.I hope Dips dosn't do a Sellwood and trade for a goalie this orginization has gone thru alot as of late let the kids develope and hopefully in the next couple Zador and Baile will push each other for the #1 net minder lets hope.

Re: Ottawa Friday Nov 27th
Don't blame Dips for any draft before he became the GM. Sellwood ran the show and his cast of clowns (Scouts) were the ones who made the decisions on the draft picks. Especially the number 1 pick, Selwood would have been the one who made the decision.
I feel bad for Baillie - not his fault the Gens picked a goalie in the 1st round. He just gets the blame when he doesn't play well and remember he is a 17 year old kid.
The 1st round picks following the Gens that year were:
Fowler to Windsor.. he would not have come here anyway
Beukeboom to SSM - would have been a good pick
Silas to the Bulls - would have been a good pick
Skinner to Kitchener - this was pre-arranged and he would not have come here.
So how good would Beukeboom or Silas be for the Gens right now?
