A win sure would be a nice start to a Grey Cup party. Is anyone going to the Thirsty Monk after the hockey game?

They got the win but I didn't think it was entertaining at all. For their results lately though, I'm sure most would rather have a dull win than an entertaining loss.

The three in three is definitely a factor. In addition to that, Friday's road trip was a long one.

We seemed to shut down in the third period. The two early goals today really helped. We didn't have enough gas to control the whole game. I hope the the win and the four goals gives the boys more confidence for next weekend. We can win on Thursday and Friday, and play for pride on Sunday!

Three in three doesn't mean anything. Welcome to Junior hockey. These guys are suppose to be in shape. The three in three has been going on for years. The guys in shape don't have a problem with it. Heck, the Midgets that are playing are used to playing 6 or 7 in a weekend in tournaments. Enough of the excuses. Every team has more or less the same schedule, if you want to use an excuse, don't use one that other teams with talent and will don't have a problem with.

It's not an excuse, it's simply a factor. Yes, all teams play 3 in 3 and almost all of the time, those teams look more tired in the 3rd period on Sunday than the 1st period on Friday. There's nothing wrong with mentioning that as a reason for the team looking fatigued. They had enough energy to hang on for the win.
