Oshawa vs. Brampton, November 28th
We got a point, but overall this game is not how we want to play. I hope we have alot more energy tomorrow.

Not a highly entertaining game to say the least. I found it to be very ragged with poor passing, inability to receive a pass, unnecessary icings, inability to clear the zone and an apparent lack of communication on any given line. What we have here (besides "a failure to communicate") is a team primarily composed of players drafted in rounds three and lower who have no idea how to put the the puck in the net. We are missing the first and second rounders who form the nucleus of your goal scoring most of whom haven't reported or were traded away. And the Battalion were not much (if any) better!

Our lacklustre shootout really summed up the game. Brampton certainly did not come in and take it to us.

Poor scoring touch, all there is to it. They might not have put up 35-40 shots but they certainly had enough chances that their effort could have been enough for the win. This is another one on the list of games that they played well enough to win but fell short. I thought they did well to kill off the penalty in OT although Brampton inexplicably not shooting the puck for long stretches helped that.
They need to find that offensive touch they had during the season's first few games.
First 10 games: 46 goals (4.6 per game)
Next 16 games: 36 goals (2.2 per game)
That offense has to return at some point.

On a bright note, I though Dzielski had a good game. Seemed to be taking the young guys under his wing.
