Gens and Petes upcoming schedule
Gens have 7 of 10 coming against teams below .500. The three other matchups are Plymouth, Ottawa and Peterborough which are all home games.
Petes have the opposite, 7 of 10 against teams at or above .500 including two visits to Ottawa, a real tough building to play in and visits to Barrie and Oshawa. Plymouth, Ottawa and Mississauga also visit Peterborough over the next ten games. The Petes have a real tough schedule. It's not unreasonable to think the Petes go 2-8 or 3-7 over this stretch.
The Gens have six points to make up to get that division lead. Circle Friday, January 8th on your calendars, that could be the game that puts the Gens over the top. Can they maintain this great play without DeHaan?

I think we will find out against Brampton and Plymouth. The Battalion have played decent and steady hockey all year without Hodgson, they are not a knockover. The Whalers always scare me. They are a solid team in a tough conference.

Correction, it was actually four points to make up on the Petes rather than six and now with the win over Brampton, it's actually two. One point back of Ottawa for 4th in the conference. Looking good!
