Brett Parnham update

since it's xmas

my ultimate gift would be Brett playing in the OHL for any other team and us receiving any form of compensation

8 points in 14 games

his team just picked up another forward, maybe they'll cut him wishful thinking

how many games was his contract? anyone have any info on him?

I think I read somewhere that it was 18 games.

Don't hold your breath! Parnham in 14 games is 4 goals, 4 assists, 8 points and a -6. Two other pickups from about the same time are Jadran Beljo: 12 games, 1 goal, 2 assists for 3 points and +3 and Bobby Hughes: 12 games , 1 goal, 2 assists for 3 points and -3! Parnham's stats are twice as good. The only way he will ever see the "O" is if he is miserable down there and he is traded for by a strong contender before he has to be released, if that date hasn't passed already. Anyone know when that is?

The Date hasn't passed yet the deadline to protect 3 OA's is 12 noon @ trade deadline.

It was a 20 game contract as stated.Parnhams 20th game would be jan 7th, well before the ohl trade deadline.I believe he will be dealt to barrie or kitchener. Watch for pietrangelo to be dealt if he is sent back to junior, and london will either be loading up or unloading kadri and others.Once this happens look out for lots of deals.

i say trade his rights even if he's not back in the ohl at the deadline, conditional picks

Unfortunately after a few other moves they still don't have an excess number of forwards....

add Hunter and sounds like the team has 14 forwards now

doesn't look good for Brett in Utah, since theres only 1 game left on his contract

Utah has left for an Alaska trip - they will play 3 games up there in 5 days.

If Brett makes the trip - does that mean he is staying

Adding extra forwards could mean something is in the works

trade em , he doesnt play for us again , would be a disruptive force on the team , besides we are building for the future not scrambling to make the playoffs

We sure could have used another fifty goals this year.

Brett played his 21st game with Utah tonight.

Guess this means the dream is over for us Gens fans.
