Kassin traded to don't know the details just heard it on the Windsor /Sarnia game on the OHL package.

The deal was Kassian to Windsor, Austin Watson and a 2nd in 2012 & 2nd in 2014 to Peterborough. The Petes made out like bandits.

Watson is only a 92 and had 11 goals 23 assists for 34 points. I doubt very much he was on the top lines in Windsor. Kassian had 8 goals and 19 assists for 27 points for the Petes.

My husband came up stairs and said are you watching the game Kassian is going to get nailed he left his feet nailed a player he got 5minute major then 5 for fighting and a game misconduct

Kassian has been suspended indefinitely by the Ontario Hockey League, pending a further review. At 6:45 of the second period Thursday night, Kassian was slapped with a charging major and game misconduct for a hit on Barrie Colts overager Matt Kennedy. Kassian then immediately dropped his gloves and tangled with Colts forward Matt Stanisz. Kassian had scored a goal early in the first period. It was his first game with Windsor after Sunday's trade from Peterborough for Austin Watson and two second round picks.

Great game last night with Windsor and Barrie.....glad to see Barrie win.

I bet the Petes are doing a major happy dance now. The Petes played last night too and the kid (Watson) that they got for Kassin got a goal & 2 assists!

I'm sure the Petes sighed some relief that he didn't get the suspension for the hit he did on Esposto, but they figured out he was a train wreck almost ready to explode and dumped him in a hurry to Windsor . Yes your right the Petes are probably doing a huge happy dance. I really hope the league comes down hard on Kassian what he did was far worse than Liambas's hit and we all know what happened to him !!!!

I hope Mr Branch read the emails sent to him over Kassians actions on the Petes bench to the fans in Oshawa after his hit on Esposto. What a scum bag!!!

sorry UGENS i didn't catch that what were his actions on the Petes bench the other night?

He made very crude guestures to a lady who sits just behind our team bench close to the opposition bench and there was a young lad there with his dad it wasn't pretty. He's lucky the glass was high, several men wanted a piece of the kid. I looked down at the Petes bench just after he hit Nick and he had come to the bench, well him and Theberge were laughing like it was funny that Kassian was being a total jerk.

i do feel bad for Windsor fans a little though.... you bring in a player to go for a cup run and the kid kisses it away....now they have lost Mitchell as well (to injury)

also same thing happened in Quebec.... not sure on the details there but sounded like another hit at centre ice this time by Cormier.... it was his third game with his new team, he could be done for the year as well

just goes to show you really have to do your research when mking a trade.... because on ice skill isn't everything
