It was great to see Kevin pick up the 2nd star last night in Sudbury - it was also nice to see Dips put him in for the Sudbury game - after coming in relief in the SOO

I would ride the hot hand - play him again in Belleville on Wed

i would agree , let bailie run with it , see what he can do , zador is not just consistant enough , how can the players count on him ?

Well I don't think bailie has had the opportunity to play 4 0r 5 games in a row , has he ? Zador on the other hand has had a lot of starts , last year and so far this year , and man to me he just is missing something , he gives up a lot of rebounds and I wonder about his ability to stay focused during the game . Let's face it neither one has lived up to the billing thus far , it isn't like this is their first year .........the gens need a real stopper this year and for sure next ! If we are going to be a serious threat for a run ! ...it just isn't going to happen with zador , for sure , and probably not with bailie either .
To get a quality goalie the gens are going to have to bite the bullet and give a quality young player for one , in the playoffs , the most important player is the goaltender , in my experience anyhow

Lets not get carried away - I remember about Sell the farm Sellwood
and what he did for a 3 month goaltender and we are still paying for that mistake

I say leave it to our scouts after all they did a great job last year

Goalies need timing ,positioning and confidence and this only comes with game action - you can't throw anybody out there once every 3 weeks and expect him to shine

There isn't a team out there who is going to trade there ace 16 or 17 yr old goaltender - just look what the Petes and the Soo paid for bottom goaltenders

IT IS WHAT IT IS - so I say support our kids

"IT IS WHAT IT IS - so I say support our kids"

very good point...

don't forget everyone... the Gens have a new goalie consultant (Michael Lawrence) this year. new methods to learn.

the goalie coach from last year is now with the Petes .... take whatever conclusion you want from that.

But he is also Owen Sounds and Sudbury's goalie consultant,so he dosn't spend all his time with Zador/Baillie.

we'll see what happens , bailie was a first round pick he was supposed top be # 1 by now , that plan is very quickly coming to an end unless , he turns it around now , and he isnt going to do that playing backup to Zador , so i dont understand what the gens are doing with their goalies , furthermore i want to go on record as saying that the gens need to bring somebody else in , if not this year for sure next , if their plan is to make a run for it next year , which they should be aiming for .

Well another good effort from bailie , I really like the way the team plays, in front of him , I will say bailie had a lot of help from his posts , but hey part of the goalies equipment as they say .

Just back from Bellevegas. The Gens played well.

I thought Baillie was excellent tonight. Numerous shots hit him square in the chest which means he was square to the shooter, cutting down angles. He looked like he was very confident, which isn't something I've seen from him in the past.

Looking forward to another solid effort Friday night
