If you include the 37:59 from Friday nights game in Kitchener Appleby hasn't allowed a goal in 157:59. Does anyone know the longest shutout streak by a Generals goaltender?

I am so happy to see the team play defensive in front of Appleby. What a great message to send to the rest of the league, our goalies are hot! I too think Appleby may have set a record for Oshawa, I can't remember back to back shutouts going back. His mom must just be glowing!

He's been solid and for some reason the gens have decided to play solid D again , 3rd best D in the league , feels great to see the boys get back on track , this is the style of play D first that will let them compete with the top 3 teams in the west .

Best game I've seen Latour play as a general , hustling and really seeing the ice beautifully

And what can you say about Laughton !,!,, awesome talent

As he is hot why would you switch goalies - also he is from the North and would be pumped

Great game today for Ken - he stops a penalty shot with less than 35 seconds to get the win

After Oshawa let loose on Friday with 58 shots today less than 20

Appleby is RED HOT at the perfect time too...       

Awesome game by him today and that save on the penelty shot, wow that was awesome.       

Hopefully the guys can play the defence they did on friday and get way more shots....Its gonna be a barn burner of a game tomorrow and whoever plays goal im sure it really wont matter.

great road win for the gens !!! APPLEBY standing tall !!! the Gens are currently sitting 2nd in the league in goals against !!! Their defensive game has been solid the last while , they are going to need to think Defense first tomorrow against the knights , who are hot , 9 and 1 last 10 games .
