Barrie will come to the GM Centre Sunday afternoon on a 5 game losing streak, having been outscored 28-12 in those 5 games. It's a great chance for the Gens to hit the 30 point mark on the season...some help from the western conference tomorrow would also be nice, with Ottawa in Kitchener and Kingston in London. The Gens will still have 3 games in hand on the 67's after tomorrow, so it would be nice to be even with them on points. A Gens win and an Ottawa regulation loss would do exactly that.

I hope the Gens don't take the Colts for granted or underestimate...Di Salvo, who has played the majority of Barrie's games, is facing an average of 40 shots per game and has a 2-14 record (with an OT loss as well)...their rookie back-up is 2-2 and both have a goals against average of 4.8...hopefully the Gens continue to work hard today even though the opposition might be a bit weaker. A fast skating team like the Gens should really be able to carry the play.

2-2 with the first just about complete. Zador looks pretty poor out there today. Generals need to bear down and play a structred game. Too much running around. These are the kind of games that can get away from you.

When was the last time Zador played? Like Bailie earlier in the season, it's hard to jump in cold and be immediately successful. If one goalie plays for two or three weeks in a row, the other one wil need a couple of games to get his groove back. I'm sure that's the case with Zador today.

Despite the fact that one goalie gets rusty, I think riding the hot hand is the way to go until that goalie loses but with a couple of games against weaker teams this weekend, I don't blame De Piero for giving each goalie one game this weekend. Next week, I think Bailie's the hot hand right now and the one who should play. We'll see what happens.

Definitely heard the first few bars of 'We're Gonna Win' - much appreciated - shame they dropped the puck so quickly!

I was going to play it for awhile if they didn't score the two completely unnecessary goals at the end! Laughing

The whole team looked pretty poor out there except for the last 5 miniutes or so Baille won't fair any better.this was a team break down not just 1 player playing poorly.
